River Animals.
One of my favorite things about Milwaukee is its park system. A large portion of the Milwaukee River is sounded by a park that acts as a safe haven for wildlife and a buffer zone that keeps some of the cities pollution and runoff out of the river. These stencils are of animals that live around Wisconsin rivers and wetlands. They are meant to be reminders of the importance of preserving natural spaces. These are all two-color stencils. The first color is red clay that I dug up, the second is my regular mud mixture.

Me and the Milwaukee River and all its inhabitants thank you for this work. We are so desperate for Art that guides us to what we really need to see and know from the place of deep love for the planet.
thanks, peter
